What’s my Toy Worth?

What is  my toy worth?  Well there really won’t be a perfect answer.  There will be a range of toy values thanks to the unique hand crafted nature of Antique Toys and vintage toys. We can help you with toy value ranges and determine what your toy is worth.

Please start by emailing us and send us about three photos. Toys@AntiqueToys.com  We usually look for paint condition, originality, uniqueness, desirability, and quite a few other metrics. Toy value then must be adjusted for today, not what happened in the 70s or 80s or 90s.

We then factor in personal experience and knowledge of collectors that spend money these days ( versus deceased).  We look at the auction personalities and conditions too.  We often know the buyers themselves.   

We also take into account regional variables, and knowledge of buyers and sellers that set recent toy prices.   Sometimes a detail as simple as a sticker or a hang tag makes tremendous difference in value. Sometimes replaced tires become a big deal. Sometimes toy paint adjustments need to be reviewed, toy part replacements etc.
