We have for you a ca. 1930’s pressed steel ambulance that was manufactured by Wyandotte Toys (All Metal Products Co.) of Wyandotte, Michigan.    

The rear door opens and closes. The wheels are wood.  

This piece is in very good all original condition with no breaks, restorations, repairs, or touch-ups. This piece shows the usual patina, fading, dust, chips, scuffs, surface rust, scratches, missing accessories, and wear that are to be expected from age and play. This is approximately 11″ L. 1920 – 1956 (Toy production began in 1921).    

Founder: George Stallings and William F. Schmidt    

Specialty: Toy guns, rifles, targets, pressed-steel airplanes, and other motor toys with baked-enamel finish and battery-operated headlights. Their biggest year was 1935 with 5 1/2 million dollars in toy guns. Acquired Haffner Trains (1950-1955).
