Wyandotte Toys All Metal Products Company Pressed Steel DC-3 Airplane *SOLD*

Wyandotte Toys All Metal Products Company Pressed Steel DC-3 Airplane

Our example of this vintage pressed steel DC-3 airplane was manufactured by Wyandotte Toys (All Metal Products Co.) of Wyandotte, Michigan.

We will take a leap of faith and call this a DC-3 made by Wyandotte.  We love its clean form and impressionistic look.

The design is circa 1938.

The tires and paint are all original.   -All steel and rubber.

We have seen these Wyandotte steel airplanes before, but rarely in such pristine and original condition.

The white rubber tires are still intact, but as per usual with toys of this age, they may have petrified, discolored, warped, and/or cracked. We did not notice any problems. The wheels turn as they should.

This piece is in excellent near-mint all original condition with no breaks, restorations, repairs, or touch-ups. This piece shows the usual patina, fading, dust, chips, scuffs, surface rust, scratches, missing accessories, and wear that are to be expected from age and play. This is approximately 5 ¼” L x 7 ¼” wingspan. We invite you to view the photos to further determine quality and condition.
