Wolverine Mystery Car Tin Toy

Nice Wolverine Toys late 1930s car known as the “Mystery Car”.  The mechanism was a very dicy design, where the kids pushed on the trunk area.   That crunched up a spring, then the release would let the toy go.

Our toy example works and is only lightly used.  When we say works, it works like the original, just don’t push it too hard down and be sure the tires have some grip.

Litho is bring.  The tires are very late pre-war, World War 2, style and wood.  At the time, rubber was being used for war needs.  Steel was also tough to get.
