We have for you a vintage ERTL John Deere Loader #507 diecast 1/16 scale replica construction toy manufactured by Ertl of Dubuque, Iowa.
This center-hinged steering 1/16 scale replica of a John Deere loader has levers that raise, lower, and dump the loader bucket. It is made diecast “rust resistant” metal and plastic with real rubber tires.
Our example of this piece is in excellent near mint all original condition with no restorations, repairs, or touch ups. The paint is in excellent near mint overall condition with the usual dust, patina, scratches, scuffs and chips that are seen with age and display. The whole toy is approximately 10 ½” L. A brief of history of Ertl of Dubuque, Iowa:
The Ertl Company was founded by Fred Ertl, Sr. in Dubuque, Iowa in 1945. In 1959, the company moved to a larger facility in Dyersville, Iowa. Ertl switched hands several times since 1945 and was acquired by Tony in 2008. They are best known for their diecast meal alloy collectible replicas/scale models of vehicles and farm equipment.
