Ugly Duckling Boat

This is the little boat that could.  It is a rat rod of boating and a beast.  It is also a one of a kind hand-hammered , hand made toy.  Someone must have worked in a machine shop and did this as a labor of love.

Recently, the owner took this baseline hull and steam engine, then added R/C controls.  Finally the new owner fashioned a vertical steam engine but never completed the installation.

It is a crude object that starts to blur the lines between primitive art and the toy world.  99% of buyers won’t get it, but then it can only have one owner.
