Tippco Toys Company (Tipp & Co., TCO) Tin Lithographed Windup T.C.975 Coupe

We believe this is a 1935 TippCo design, and it is a more deluxe coupe than normal.  It has headlights and a battery terminal along with a figure and opening door.  This would make it the deluxe.

The lever for lighting is present.  The wires and bulbs and front holders are present but not working.  There is a spot for a rear bulb to be clipped below the trunk.

This toy didn’t have bumpers; bumpers were not mandatory at the time for real cars & this toy never had them.

Tires are marked Dunlop Cord and 910×135.

The dashboard is lithographed with gauges and the TCO logo.  Oddly it is kept upward-facing so it can be seen through the front window.

Condition is well used, with a working windup.  There is white tape on the trunk.  Doors open and close properly.  Wheels roll properly.

The figure is especially fine and has a glossy and colorful feature to the toy.
