Structo Manufacturing Co. Pressed Steel Pile Driver 

We have for you a pressed steel “Pile Driver” manufactured by Structo Manufacturing Co. of Freeport, Illinois.    

This is in all working order wheels roll as they should and pile driver goes up and down. 

This piece is in good all original condition with no breaks, restorations, repairs, or touch ups. This piece shows the usual patina, fading, dust, chips, scuffs, surface rust, scratches, missing accessories and wear that are to be expected from age and play. A brief history of Structo Manufacturing Company of Freeport, Illinois:         

Structo Manufacturing Company was based out of Freeport, Illinois. Founded in 1908, Structo made toy construction sets before selling the patents to A.C. Gilbert Company, the well-known manufacturer of ERECTOR sets. Structo then started manufacturing “Auto-Builder” kits, including the High-Wheel Tractor, that children could assemble into working models.
