Strauss Trik Auto Tin Windup for Sale *SOLD*

Strauss Trik Auto Tin Windup For Sale

We have a simple toy and seemingly toy that isn’t flashy.  This said it is Pre-Marx, Strauss, and a toy of Early American 20th century toy history.

Marx later captured this random toy car action, but it appears Strauss was a precursor by at least 10 years.  This tin windup is tough to find, and a very early 1920’s toy.  It was also not coated with paint underneath, and the condition is great.

The windup and wheels work properly, giving a random drive action.  The figure is original with some chipping.  The lithograph is in good condition with some scratches and abrasion.  The toy is about 100 years old and from the Big Apple; New York, New York.
