SSS Shioji & Co. Tin Lithographed Friction “Jeep: Military Police” in Box

This is a “New Style” tin, lithographed, friction Military Police Jeep in box that was manufactured by Shioji/Shioji Shoten/Shioji & Co or more commonly known as SSS of Japan.

The black rubber tires are still intact, but as per usual with toys of this age, they may have petrified, discolored, warped, and/or cracked. We did not notice any issues and the wheels roll as they should. The friction mechanism works wonderfully. The box is in good condition. The driver is in good condition having some scratches to his lithography.

This piece is in mint all original condition with no breaks, restorations, repairs, or touch-ups. This piece shows the usual patina, fading, dust, chips, scuffs, surface rust, scratches, missing accessories, and wear that are to be expected from age and display.
