Our Red Goose is a massive bank, in fact on the edge of a door stop heft.  It comes with red/orange original paint and some minor chipping as shown.  It has a coin slot on the top and can be disassembled by screw to retrieve the coins.

Red Goose shoes are a brand lost to time; it would be like Buster Brown or Addidas now in terms of recognition.  Toys like this were used as promotional items to catch kid’ interest and stay in the household for subtle branding.

This model was likely post war and early.  It was likely American by a maker like Grey Iron.
