Mark III Lincoln Tin Car by Bandai Japan Jaw Dropper for Sale *SOLD*
Mark III Lincoln tin car by Bandai Japan- Jaw Dropper for sale
This Mark III Continental Convertible Stunner is decked in black with a cream and red plaid interior. Gloss is near perfect and bright work is near perfect. Â The lower box is as made, but the upper box had to be lined to strengthen it years back.
Going over the car, we see a near flawless lower panel. Â Tires don’t look worn. Â On the top-side the gloss is near mint minus one very small scratch around the trunk. Â The oft-lost emblem is still on the hood. Â Whitewalls look excellent.
The full sized vehicle was marketed as a flagship of Ford and a personal luxury vehicle (think tiny 2 door). The 1958 Lincoln was longer, wider, and heavier than any American production car ever built. It was designed to make a statement. For this convertible design, the rear glass was electrically controlled and the entire unit folded  forward of the trunk.
