If you delve deep into the rabbit hole with Lehmann toys, you will recognize that the “Brimmed Hat” version of this toy is rare.  Lehmann Toys of Germany produces this toy very early in the 1900’s with a Brimmed hat as shown.  Cost cutting and possibly kid feedback cause this feature to be deleted.

Our toy is in original condition with the expected aging.  Nanni comes with her hat and oft-lost scarf intact.
