Kimono Geisha Doll Presentation Keepsake from Japan
Kimono Geshia Doll presentation keepsake from Japan
Our Kimono Geshia Doll from Japan is a motorcycle club members keepsake and presentation gift. We simply wanted to share this wonderful item with our readers.
Our friend Ron spent times in japan in the 1950’s and then became a member, by invitation, of a Japanese motorcycle club. He enjoyed his time overseas with the Airforce and then eventually returned back to the sates. At the end of his visit, he was presented with this Kimono wearing Geisha doll. The reverse of the case is signed by the cycling group’s members from the Tokyo region.
His stay overseas was documented in a few magazines as well as the accompanying motorcycle photo albums. Even the presentation was captured on film.
Rare, beautiful, one of a kind! Thanks Ron, and it will be enjoyed and likely placed with a St Petersburg area collector and Japanese culture aficionado.
