Keystone Pressed Steel Original Dump Truck *SOLD*

Keystone Pressed Steel Original dump truck for sale

Our Keystone dump truck is a great model of an early 1900’s closed cab Packard.  This Mass. based company was known for great detail and unfortunately no primer for the red frames.  So the poor condition red frame is dead on original and is simply a trade of this company.  NO one has great red….unless there is a frame restoration.

Kids got beautiful rubber tires, steel rims, bumper crank dump action, then a smaller gate for coal, salt and smaller applications.  This toy has its original stickers and a glossy black paint job.  We see traces of corrosion in the usual spots where factory paint was thinner and metal got bent.  -Stress corrosion.

Both original headlights are present just below the cab window. Then the original turn signal by the driver is present too.

The Keystone Manufacturing Company was based in Boston, Massachusetts. “Keystone” Pressed Steel Toys started in frothy and prosperous 1924. With the approval of the Packard Motor Company, Keystone patterned their toy trucks after the well-know and highly visible, full size Packard trucks of the day. The hallmark of Keystone’s “Packard” truck was the “Packard” decal prominently displayed on the front of each truck’s radiator
