Extraordinary Live Steam Engine- est. Gauge 3 for sale

At about 9 cm outside flange to outside flange or 8 cm inside flange to inside flange, this incredible engine is close to Gauge 3 in size.  It dwarfs other toys and is likely a hand made model of extremely fine detail, possibly a one of a kind.

The toy features live steam burners and steam pistons.  It is a beauty and our pleasure to offer on consignment.  Details available upon request.

Early research indicates it to be very similar to a LNWR or London and North Western Railway CORNWALL, a trail built in 1847 and in service until 1905.  We have included a picture for comparison. Also, parts are similar to a GNR Stirling.
