Carpenter ca. 1880’s Cast Iron Horse Drawn Wagon *SOLD*

Carpenter ca. 1880’s Cast Iron Horse Drawn Wagon

We have for you this ca. 1880’s cast iron two-piece horse drawn wagon with removable horse that was manufactured by Francis W. Carpenter of Port Chester, New York.

This piece is very unusual not only for its age, but for its removable horse. The wheels and axles are attached securely and roll as they should. The driver is a Mike Harrington replacement so you know it is as close to the original as possible.

This very old Carpenter cast iron horse drawn wagon is in great all original condition with no breaks, restorations (other than the driver replacement), repairs, or touch ups. This piece shows the usual patina, fading, dust, chips, scuffs, surface rust, scratches, and wear that are to be expected from age and play. This is approximately 12 ½” L x 5” W. We invite you to view the photos to further determine quality and condition.
