Carette Tin Liner or Ship for Sale Tin Windup *SOLD*
Our beauty of a tin ship is just what the doctor ordered for small shelves. We happen to like this model, likely a Gunboat aka Kriegsschiffe or Panzerschiffe (warship). It is similar to the 370-21 model with one cannon. It likely dates to 1914.
This gunboat is restored by an expert hand. It exhibits better paint adhesion than the originals we have seen. Unfortunately, at 105 years old the paint normally crumbles off and primers were poor.
