Our mid 1930’s staff car is lead and made by Britains in the UK.  The toy features hand a hand painted driver and passenger, then a surprising Nazi symbol on the back.

Britains issued an Army Staff Car at around the same time, and the soldiers appear the same, both driving an MG, possibly a TA style.  Our toy then has a Nazi symbol that appears hand painted.  We do not know if this was painted later or a test subject.

Regardless, the saluting driver fits in with the theme, as does the drab coloration.
