Bing Tin Lithographed Windup Opening Touring Car with Lady Driver for Sale *SOLD*
Bing Tin Lithographed Windup Opening Touring Car with Lady Driver
We have a very unusual #19872 windup to share- Bing Open Touring with lady. Â It is a desirable and scarce Gray version. Â Then it also has the scarce lady driver in it.
Wheels adjust straight or to make circles. Â Turning slots work and are on the front bottom of the car.
Bing often sent these to the US as an export, competing directly with Arcade Toys in cast iron. Â This toy, though, is lighter and has a windup, it isn’t as durable though and ours is a great survivor.
Tin lithography is used throughout. Â The lady is fixed in place. Â The windup works. Â The spare is removable and a replacement. Â Bing Works is marked on the rear of the car.
Condition is lightly used but excellent with original lithography. Â The detailed license plate is still there along with the delicate radiator cap.
