Missouri Battleship Toy from Japan, ITO

We are pleased to share a great toy made of wood.  Yes, this is a Post-War Japanese Wood battleship toy of the venerable USS Missouri (though it looks metal).  It is battery operated with lights and a motor.

Historians note that it was used up to the Desert Storm flight in Iraq and then served as the backdrop to the end of the Pacific war and World War 2.   This Missouri toy battleship even features a “Peace Table” and light and writing on the deck near the forward guns.  It denotes the famous Missouri name on the side.  Then we believe the cammaflauge scheme is fantasy, but it looks great.  It appears to be thick lead paint that flowed out well & is quite glossy.

Gen. Douglas MacArthur signs as Supreme Allied Commander during formal surrender ceremonies on the USS MISSOURI in Tokyo Bay. Behind Gen. MacArthur are Lt. Gen. Jonathan Wainwright and Lt. Gen. A. E. Percival, September 2, 1945

USS Missouri (BB-63) is an Iowa-class battleship and was the third ship of the United States Navy to be named after the U.S. state of Missouri. Missouri was the last battleship commissioned by the United States and is best remembered as the site of the surrender of the Empire of Japan, which ended World War II

Hello, can you please contact me via email about the Missouri Battleship model. I am very hopeful it is for sale. I had the same one as a child and it was stolen from my home many years ago.
