Japanese tin #7 Race Car with Boy

This is a smaller tin, but with a big rarity factor.  We’ve not seen this before!

It is a #7 race car with an incredibly charming cross-eyed boy rider.  The head is a vinyl and body & car are tin.  The car is a friction driven car.

Condition is good, but some play wear, but quite nice for its age.  We suspect it to be an early 50’s toy straight from Japan to America.
