A.C. Williams Desirable Cast Iron Tow Truck
This desirable cast iron tow truck was made by AC Williams of Ravenna, OH. Â The toy has an extra interest because it isn’t just a tow truck, it is an open cab version. Â The design would be quite a early one, circa 1924.
Chassis size is close to 5″, but with the boom, overall length is 6″.
Our toy is original with replacement tires. Â Bumpers are intact as is the fragile boom; we did not find any cracks or repairs.
Our rendition is a “take apart” toy where the chassis and body can be swapped.
