Marklin Toy Army Cannons from Germany

Marklin made these very distinct toy cannons around the 1930’s and they are beautiful to hold in person.  The paintwork is heavily applied in a military no-nonsense manner.  Colors pop, and then the cannon itself can fire a paper wad or light projectile by pulling back the spring loaded shaft.

Both toys have toy wear as shown and light chipping. The set does come with the pictured soldier.
